The 2022 NIO Summit, September 20-23 in Kansas City, Missouri: Our Top Session Picks

The 2022 NIO Summit is kicking off now in Kansas City with a Wizard of Oz-inspired Wizard of Optimization theme.

The Engage Group’s very own Erick Quijada – along with PMG’s Polly Papsadore – are attending this outstanding online fundraising and digital marketing conference presented annually by NextAfter.

The NIO Summit offers nonprofits and agency partners some of the industry’s best fundraising practices, techniques, and innovations. We love the main stage format with Ted Talk-style presentations and the Innovation Showcase exhibit hall which features lots of interesting tech and data companies.

Here are three sessions we’re really looking forward to:

1. “Missions to Movements: Craft Your Personalized Online Donor’s Journey” with Dana Snyder of Positive Equation, about taking a personalized approach to reaching supporters through phased social media content.
2. “Given the Crazy Inflation… How Do You Maximize Digital and Mail Efforts” with Dan Brown of American Philanthropic. This is a quick tip session on fundraising during financially hard times.
3. “Boost Giving with Micro Campaigns: They’re Small, But Mighty” with Shawn Olds of BoodleAI. This session will show how combining donor data insights with short-cycle advertising campaigns will boost digital ad campaign results.
